During the Art Deco era of the 1920's, the coast of Florida and the surrounding Caribbean Islands were "discovered" by American society. Palm Beach flourished as the winter playground for high society, while Miami Beach developed as the Las Vegas of its era. Pictured here is a breathtaking platinum brooch from the Art Deco "Jazz Age" of two diamond and emerald palm trees growing out of a deserted island of diamonds. This spectacular brooch is encrusted with 130 round diamonds, 39 channel set baguette diamonds, and 104 calibré set emeralds in a hand made platinum setting
