70.  Limoges enamel, emerald, rose-cut diamond, silver and gold portrait brooch surrounded by a serpent.  Golay et Fils, Geneve.   Dramatic piece of jewelry with a frame of rose cut diamonds in the form of a snake. Limoges enamel portrait brooches were popular in the late 1800’s and usually represented a famous actress or classical opera diva in stage costume.
