228.  Calibré-set ruby, diamond and gold bracelet.  Verger, Paris.  This bracelet is an incredible example of Art Moderne jewelry of the lat 1930’s to early 1940’s.  The flexible snake style bracelet of 18kt yellow gold has a center of a stylized hear set with calibre set rubies and diamonds.  Verger was one of the great makers of high fashion watches and jewelry.  Verger jewelry is quite rare and highly collected.
