219.  Ruby bead and gold bouquet earrings.  Cartier, Paris.         These earrings are from the Art Moderne era and are set with fine ruby beads set in cups of 18kt yellow gold.  The polished gold in the cups further reflects and enhances the red of the rubies.  These earrings are beautiful on the ear.
