196.  Burma ruby, turquoise, diamond and gold flower brooch.  French.   This brooch is typical of high fashion French “jet-set” jewelry of the 1960’s with petals of braided 18kt yellow gold that move and sway when worn.   The center of the brooch is of turquoise baguettes with a cluster of vibrant rubies and a stem of 18kt yellow gold with a diamond and gold leaf.
