195.  Turquoise, cabochon-cut ruby and gold shaggy dog brooch.  Mauboussin, Paris.    Wonderful whimsy, this brooch is beautifully made with thin wires of 18kt yellow gold with a dramatic cabochon cut sky blue turquoise of a dog with floppy ears.  Mauboussin is one of the great French jewelry firms of the 20th century.
