114.  Remarkable, three dimensionally carved buff-cut Siberian amethyst, diamond, silver and gold pansy pendant/brooch.  This brooch, which can be worn also as a pendant, is a wonderful example of the sentimentality of flowers in jewelry.  The pansy was traditionally a symbol of friendship.  What is remarkable about this piece of jewelry is the pansy is composed of just one large intense purple amethyst.
