113.  Demantoid garnet, natural pearl, diamond and gold wreath brooch.  Demantoid garnets are a very rare gemstone, first discovered in the Ural mountains at the turn of the century and became a rage during the Edwardian era as the gemstone has the highest refractive index next to a diamond (demantoid literally means green diamond) and was perfect set in a pave manner to compliment pave set diamonds.  This wreath brooch is a perfect example of the exquisite art of jewelry made during the Edwardian era.
