112.  Demantoid garnet, garnet, citrine, “Jubilee enamel” and gold “Jubilee Enamel” pendant and chain.  Brightly enameled jewelry became a rage during the 1897 jubilee celebration for Queen Victoria.  During the celebration of Queen Victoria’s jubilee, brightly colored enamel jewelry became the rage as English fashion emerged from the more modest mores the earlier Victorian era.  The pendant is suspended from a finely linked yellow gold chain.
