108.  Natural colored pearl, diamond and platinum garland brooch.  French.  This classic brooch is of garlands of diamonds and platinum with dramatic color natural pearls of different hues.  Natural pearls with different colors are quite rare and are only found in Edwardian era jewelry.  This was the height of the pearl market when pearls became more valuable than diamonds or precious stones.  This is a wonderful example of fine Edwardian jewelry.
